Community Clean-up Helping Habitat of Nearby Animals & Environment
Granted $500.00 for community Clean-up to help habitat of nearby animals and environment.
Project Objectives:
in the past, we have been able to gather over 200 volunteers for our community clean-up events, and we have collected numerous bags of garbage from community parks. This has, in turn, helped youth be more active in the community by teaching them to take action to preserve the environment and by encouraging them to spend more time outdoors by improving the quality of life in their local environments. We do so by being thorough with our workshops, orientations, and on-site training for our volunteers. We can expect the same for this year’s community cleanup, if not greater numbers of volunteers and hence, garbage collected. This means we can expect an even greater impact on the community.
